Remember the Battle of Hogwarts

May 2nd is the tragic anniversary for perhaps the most prolific event to occur in wizarding world history: the Battle of Hogwarts. Voldemort and his unmerry band of deatheaters come knocking on the boarding school's front door to battle it out against Harry Potter who had been on a quest to destroy the Dark Lord's last remaining horcruxes.

The battle was not without a number of fatalities in which our favorite characters faced their unfortunate mortal end; Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Colin Creevey, Bellatrix Lestrange, Fred Weasley and Lavender Brown.

Recently author J.K. Rowling took to twitter mentioning the anniversary and her reluctance to kill off some of these characters tweeting:
One must ask fellow Potterheads, which fatality in Deathly Hallows did you dislike the most? Which character's death did you eventually accept the deeper meaning behind?
