Potter Talk was recently contacted by Orlando Sentinel journalist Sandra Pedicini about the exciting Universal Studios Florida theme park known as the Wizard World of Harry Potter. Their newest magical expansion known as Diagon Alley will act as a sister park to the Islands of Adventure Hogsmeade. Part of our discussion was quoted on their website!
In a phone interview with Ms. Pedicini, as the author of this blog, we spoke about the high attention detail that Universal Studios has given the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, attractions I am looking forward to experiencing, and how the Harry Potter fans are looking forward to this expansion.
The beloved wizarding world created by author J.K. Rowling comes to life in a new land. Iconic literary hero Harry Potter first makes his journey to the magical world of Hogwarts through the bustling shopping marketplace for witches and wizards in Diagon Alley, and boarding the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross Station. The series set in London has transformed the sunny landscape of Orlando, Florida at Universal and is planned to open July 8th, 2014.
