Disney's New Beauty and the Beast Poster Is Revealed

2016 has already been an amazing year for U.N. Goodwill Ambassador and actress Emma Watson. Next year, 2017 will be another enchanting chapter for the former Harry Potter star.

Disney will be releasing a live-action remake of their 1991 animated film Beauty and the Beast next Spring in March. As we wait for the magical updated film to come to life on the big screen, today the beautiful poster was released to continue elevating the hype! A fully-blossomed rose floats in its glass case as a windy winter swirls outside the Beast's castle.

Director Bill Condon leads a star-studded cast with Emma Watson as a bright young girl Belle wanting a provincial life and is taken prisoner by a Beast, to be played by Dan Stevens, in his castle. Despite being trapped, she befriends the household's staff just as Beast unveils a kinder exterior than what meets the eye.

Other cast members will include Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Josh Gad, and Kevin Kline.

The poster above was released online noting how there isn't a tagline or details of the cast. The teaser trailer released earlier this month takes on the same mysterious tone. Yet for fans of the original film which has become a generational classic, Disney is definitely hoping to hook movie goers based on the few notes of it's famous soundtrack and the beautiful visuals.

Excitement for Disney's next live-action feature continues to heighten. Belle is, personally, my favorite Disney Princess so the new take on her story with Emma at the helm will be definitely interesting. It's certainly on my Must-See list for next year. We can only imagine how the full-length trailer will unfold!
