Pottermore Officially Opens Wizarding World Book Club

Pottermore announced earlier this summer that the site would commence the official Wizarding World Book Club. Finally, it has been open!

If you didn't need another reason to re-read the series, Pottermore has given a little more incentive to dive back into Harry's journey in the wizarding world and facing off against Lord Voldemort. Starting today, Pottermore welcomes you to sign up (it's free!) and join the book club.

Members will read along the series one book at a time. Every week (starting on June 23rd) witches and wizards can introduce themselves on the book club's official Twitter account and begin discussing topics the community will be chatting about.

Kicking it off for June and July will be Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next week on June 26th! The current themes include "Magic and the Muggle world, first impressions, education, friendship, heroes, and villains".
Think you know everything about the Harry Potter books? Then, look Closer. Is Dumbledore actually a villain? Was Draco Malfoy misunderstood? Is Neville the real Chosen One? Love. Mortality. Jealousy. Friendship. We want to get to the bottom of it.
The book club will also be dishing out special treats including new articles examining all things Potter and iconic book extracts. Fly over to Pottermore and sign up (or log in) to your account to get started!

Are you ready to start your magical journey with Harry Potter? *raises wand*
