Current News:
- On August 24th, we wish Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, a very happy birthday!

- JK Rowling will make her only U.S. appearance for the promotion of The Casual Vacancy in New York City on October 16th! A webcast will be available for those who cannot attend!

- The Harry Potter series might have been rated as the number one book for young adults by the NPR, but when it comes to parents and which books they think their children should read, the series took second place. So, what was number one?

- James and Oliver Phelps are among the celebrities listed to attend MegaCon 2013. I'm definitely going to try to attend since I live in the general area of the convention center! Tom Felton had attended last year but I didn't have the opportunity to go.

- Composer John Williams will be honored at the Classical Brit Awards for his timeless scores in films like Jaws, Star Wars, and of course, Harry Potter.

- Actor Robert Hardy, who played Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter films, participated in the opening on a steam powered mill. Read the full report here

- Emma Watson's new movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower is soon to be released next month, and the young actress is making the rounds for press and promotional work. In an interview with Fansshare, Emma talks about her American accent, school, and her new roles.
