Diagon Alley Round-Up

Every day Diagon Alley at the Universal Orlando Resort expansion builds closer to its summer opening date in 2014. Over the past few weeks more details have been released over its construction with the construction facade slowly fading away to the theme park that will be unveiled next year.

Universal Orlando Resort released two teaser trailers which give us the tiniest glimpse into the new exciting expansion. The first one is included below, and the second one can be seen at the link here

Inside a full press release releasing information about an expansion at Universal Studios City Walk with new entertainment and restaurant complexes, it was confirmed that The Leaky Cauldron will be a restaurant at Diagon Alley.

Attractions Magazine, with an exclusive fly-over the new construction of the expansion, noted how the Gringott's Banks will ultimately be a rollercoaster, considering its expansive space compared to the rest of the area, which will likely be shops and restaurants.

As far as the other attractions in the area, confirmations have already been made earlier this year about the Hogwarts Express train transferring  guests from Universal Studios Florida to its sister park next door Islands of Adventure. The attraction will allow guests to travel from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade, a complete immersive experience for fans of the Harry Potter series.

To learn more fascinating and much-anticipated insight into the new Diagon Alley expansion at the Universal Orlando Resort theme park.

On January 23rd news was released that actor James Phelps will be participating in a live webcast revealing even more information. This appearance comes one day prior to the Universal Orlando Resort three day event at A Celebration of Harry Potter.
