Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is coming to Broadway!

In July 2016, the wizarding world began a theatrical journey at the London West End. Based on a new original story by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany with J.K. Rowling, the eighth story took center stage with the next generation of Potter and Malfoy's children embarking on a wild, dark adventure at Hogwarts.

Since the production has premiered, the show has not only consistently sold-out but garnered a record-breaking nine Olivier Awards, becoming the most award production in history. Questions have lingered when the show would cross the pond to Broadway. Now Harry Potter fans don't have to wonder anymore:

Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender announced Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be coming to New York City. The official website offers more details:

Details are still coming together for the American production. The theater is currently under renovation, and the cast has yet to be released. Tickets will go on sale this fall at Harry Potter The Play official website. Stay tuned for more information!
