
A History of Magic Exhibition Will Stop At NYC
The British Library in collaboration with Bloomsbury and JK Rowling introduced A Journey Through A History of Magic in 2017 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The exhibition includes rare fantastical artefacts from the museum and the author's original archives. In October 2018, the event will be coming to the New York Historical Society. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 20th Anniversary
In September 1998, Scholastic published Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone for U.S. readers continuing the phenomenon Bloomsbury had begun just the year before. To commemorate the book's twentieth anniversary, Scholastic will be re-releasing the book in July 2018, and the full series with brand new covers in September. For the next few years, UK Fans can expect new covers for the rest of the series as Bloomsbury announced a re-release for the 20th anniversary of Chamber of Secrets.Two New Mobile Games Will Be Released
Yep, two new mobile games will be released this year. Expected this summer, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will invite players to create their own personalized characters to attend Hogwarts acting out their own story as they learn new magical skills and make friends. And, expected for fall, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will conjure magic in the real Muggle world as users can cast spells and discover fantastic beasts.
