Harry Potter: The Exhibition to Open in Boston at CambridgeSide

The U.S. tour of Harry Potter: The Exhibition will make its debut in Boston at CambridgeSide on September 13, 2024. Having attracted over two million visitors worldwide, the exhibition brings the world of Harry Potter and beyond to fans and new audiences alike.

The exhibition features a wide array of original costumes, props, and visuals from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, as well as elements from the Tony® award-winning Broadway production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It aims to provide an immersive experience into the magical elements and iconic moments of the franchise.

Tickets are set to be available from May 16, with an option for early access through a presale starting on May 14 for those who join the waitlist. Attendees purchasing tickets during the presale will receive a commemorative Harry Potter: The Exhibition tote bag.

Exhibition Highlights Include:

  • From Page to Screen Gallery: Displays a first edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone within a Gringotts inspired vault, surrounded by video and literary quotes that link back to the book’s origins.
  • Hogwarts Castle Gallery: Provides an immersive multimedia experience that includes elements such as the Whomping Willow and Dementors, along with an interactive Marauder’s Map.
  • The Great Hall Gallery: A space that replicates the iconic Great Hall, allowing visitors to experience its grandeur.
  • Hogwarts Houses Gallery: Enables visitors to engage with the four Hogwarts houses through interactive displays and photo opportunities, including a prominent Sorting Hat scene.
  • Hogwarts Classrooms: Features interactive lessons where visitors can engage in activities such as potion brewing and spell-casting through digital interfaces.
  • Hagrid’s Hut and The Forbidden Forest: Offers experiences with magical creatures and an interactive Patronus charm demonstration.

Additionally, an exclusive collection of Harry Potter: The Exhibition merchandise will be available for purchase at the event, offering a variety of themed products, including apparel and edible treats like Chocolate Frogs and bottled Butterbeer.
